Once upon a time, there wa' a young lass who wouldna eat 'er vegetables. Day after day, 'er da and mum would scream at 'er "Eat them damn vegetables, we paid for 'em, now you eat 'em!" but the little twit never listened. Finally, 'er parents snatched 'er up and tossed 'er inta the cellar and nailed the door shut. The girl slowly died o' starvation down there in the dark and damp. At the end, just before the rats and bugs began t' gnaw on 'er, she wished wi' all 'er 'eart for some peas or maybe just a carrot.

Now git t' bed, and don' ferget t' eat yer vegetables.
