Somewhere near County Line Park (Washington side) it began raining pretty hard. This was a very fine rain, heavier than a mist or drizzle, but not big drops like normal rain. It soaked everything. The wind was starting to pick up, so Sparrow upped sail, followed closely by Gertrude.
