Another mistake I made was in the placement of my upper leeboard support. I made the mistake of attaching this before I placed the leeboard - so it is a tad forward. You can also see the center bulkhead, deck beam and mast step in this picture. I have finally come to grips with the bulkhead, understanding that it helps control hull twist if you use a center mast (you'd use one if single handing or if the wind was too much for 2 sails) but I still don't like it.
