As navigator, it's my job to make sure I can read the GPS and charts, as well as search for channel markers. I have 3 changes of batteries for my very powerful, waterproof, LED flashlight, 3 changes of Litiium batteries for the GPS, 1 change of Lithium batteries for the SPOT, and 24 AA batteries that can be used for the VHF or GPS. I also have an LED headlamp with 2 changes of AAA batteries, and a 12V recharger for my cell phone (the boat has a 12V power supply.)

My Electronics bag gets a tad mixed up with my Survival bag - mainly because my survival plan consists of screaming like a little girl into the VHF, then setting fire to something so Emergency Services knows where I am. That's why you see a waterproof container of kitchen matches, a box of waterproof matches, a Bic lighter, and a butane lighter in this pic as well. I'll probably do some gear shuffling before sailing day.
