Jim (Keely's dad) and I watched Julie Julia which has a duck as a major plot device. Jim graduated from University of Oregon, home of the Ducks. Keely, her mom, and I all graduated from Oregon State University, home of the Beavers. Tonight is the Civil War football game, and this year, the winner of the game goes on to the Rose Bowl. In celebration, I decided to cook a duck for dinner. Not Julia Child's insane recipe, but Spiced Honey Roast Duck from Betty Crocker.
