The base hull comes straight from the Bolger Teal design. The design was modified to include a squared off stern, decking, coaming, and a bowsprit. Hours of research and testing went in to finding the right rig to give the boat lively performance in a wide range of wind conditions as well as the look and feel of a traditional craft from the Great Age of Sail. The entire boat, complete with rigging, foils, AND trailer, weighed in at just 260lbs on a local log truck scale.
