The rudder is dead center in the boat, and I'd have to twist around to be able to grab a normal tiller, so I made this Tiller Offset instead. It comes off the rudderhead at 90 degrees and attaches to the tiller by a simple 3/4 inch dowel (the screws in the dowel ends are to keep it from falling through the holes.) I needed to use a 7/8 hole for the tiller so the joint doesn't bind.
