Paddling Buena Vista to Independence
October 4, 2020

Putting in at Buena Vista has changed since the last time I was
there. There is a very nice park on the west bank of the river that
has a launch ramp. On the east side, there's a sign that says "No
parking" or some such.

That's the new Skin on Frame canoe. This will be her madien voyage.
We wanted to get in the water before first light.

Nice and foggy. The ferry wasn't running yet, but it had lights
on.

It was a pretty foggy day, but Alex was a trooper.

That's the bridge at Independence. It had been a foggy day, so
there weren't very many pictures.

The canoe did great! The pullout at Independence could use some
work.
