This was the start of our 841 mile long river trip. We were on a five year old ship run by the best cruise line on the Yangtze. In 2003 they will complete the 3 Gorges Dam and in 2009 it will be full of water, flooding most of the sights we will be seeing. "May we live in exciting times"
