The Sacred Way and Ming Tombs are fascinating, but there is not enough written about them to make them interesting, so they come off as kind of dry. I'd have liked to have known a lot more about what I was seeing, but that is my fault for not being better prepared. The government of China is not run by fools. They know the value of tourism and will find ways to better exploit these resources in the future.
