OK, that's it then. I am calling the first ever Columbia 150 sailboat event.

We will launch from Beacon Rock, travel about 30 miles per day, and extract at Cape Disappointment State Park.

Timeline for Columbia 150, 2009: (all mileage estimated - time to complete unknown)

EITHER August 2-8 OR August 9-15

• August 8 and 9: Participants stage and launch boats at Beacon Rock State Park.
• Sunday, August 9: Vehicle shuttle to Cape Disappointment (3 hours) possibly charter a bus to return.
• Monday: Beacon Rock to Lemon Island (29 miles)
• Tuesday: Lemon Island to Sand Island - Scappoose (25 miles)
• Wednesday: Sand Island to Walker Island (25 miles)
• Thursday: Walker Island to Skamokawa (26 miles)
• Friday: Skamokawa to Cape Disappointment (29 miles)
• Saturday: First ever messabout at Cape Disappointment
