Unable to stand the excitement taking place on shore, Ron and I grabbed the canoe and set out to circumnavigate the island. I don't think anyone had seen a modern canoe on Sucia Island before this one, especially these Marbled Murrelets. They thrilled in alarm at us as we paddled passed.
