That's pretty much it - the only real innovation is the flat floor, and that is only because I think it'd be neat. The decking would be more than enough to keep the water out and I think you'd get more options for storage space.

The leeboard would be external, mounted on the port side, and would extend into teh water 3ft deep and be 1ft wide - a la the OZ PDR. The center of the leeboard would be directly under the CE for the sail (about 44 inces back from the bow.) The rudder would match the OZ PDR.
