Since Mik had already been on Mt Hood, I took him through the central Cascades. The histories of Oregon and Australia happened at roughly the same timeframe, so I made the trip history oriented. One stop we made was House Rock, a cave where travelers of the Oregon Trail would stop for a rest. Mik was quite a trooper, hustling up and down trails at a moment's notice.
