Michael Storer (left) is a boat designer from Australia. He has designed the Oz version of the Puddle Duck Racer, as well as the excellent Goat Island Skiff (and others.) We have been communicating via email for a couple of years, and David G (right) organized a donation effort to raise money to bring Mik to the US.

Mik started his trip in San Fransisco and then took the train to Portland where he stayed a few days with David. David brought him down to me and I decided to show him a different part of Oregon.
