We went to the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, which was very well done. Slavery is a disgusting subject fraught with hindsight and emotion, along with a huge helping of shame. I thought they struck an acceptable balance between accusation and apology. It wasn't perfect, but I don't think any honest discussion of slavery can be perfect.
