One of the fun things about hanging out with boat people is being there when they look at a new boat purchase. Boat buddy Greg had seen and fallen in love with a navy whale boat (to be seen later) and Dan (seen here) found another one for sale on Craigslist. It was down in Coos Bay, some 200 miles away, and he wanted some company for the trip. Off we went, down the road, and just before we reached Coos Bay, there was this roadside war memorial.
