Champoeg to the Boones Ferry Public Ramp is fairly short - about 5 miles. As there is almost no current, it took us just over 2 hours, which works out well for both Keely and Boadicea. The put-in at Champoeg is kind of a pain in the butt - it is a long haul down to the water. The pull-out at Boones Ferry is pure heaven: ample parking and a very nice ramp. I'd recommend doing this run early in the morning as there is a lot of traffic on the river and the ramp can get busy.
