Timothy Lake is a popular small boat lake (max speed 10mph) on Mount Hood. It gets good wind in the afternoons, and a few years ago, someone decided to start having messabouts there in late September, after most of the campgrounds close. I arrived on Friday afternoon. Out on the water was legendary Australian boat designer, Michael Storer in one of his designs, the Goat Island Skiff. MIK is big in the PDR world and was here visiting the US at the request of the American Puddle Duckers.
