Day 2 was similar to Day 1 - a long run down the Land Cut, but with the significant difference of sailing through Baffin Bay. Since the start and end points were well known, I took off with my 60sqft sail up and scooted out ahead. Crossing the bay got a little hairy, so I reefed down to 40sqft and continued. It is VERY important to be able to reef from inside your boat, while on the water. For me, it is as simple as tying 2 knots and takes less than 5 minutes (of course, I screwed even that simple operation up, but it was easily corrected.)

Day 2 has more significance as well: It is the last convenient day to pull out, and after this day, things get significantly more difficult. (something I didn't tell the others until it was time for bed)
