The Eugene Yacht Club is a really nice facility and I think they want a little more exposure. One of the Coots has a special soft spot for Fern Ridge, so he has been working with the EYC to put on a wooden boat show to showcase the yacht club and Fern Ridge in general. The EYC allowed Coots to camp on site the night before, but I didn't show up until early Saturday. Upon arrival I was pleased to see several Coots already in attendance.
