My GPS recorded me hitting 6mph a couple of times, most of the time I was in the 4+ mph range. Not bad for a 14ft boat. I was just sailing around in front of the campsite, and Adolph (my father-in-law's dog) was freaking out on shore. He was whining and crying and making a nuisance of himself (which he is prone to do) so I packed it in for the morning and headed to shore.
