Greg had said he wanted to do a paddle on the Columbia or something. I hadn't paddled any of the lower Willamette, so we decided to go from the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) to where the Willamette dumps into the Columbia at Kelley Point, a distance of about 13 miles. We were using my newest canoe, a 3 sheet jobbie based on the 6 Hour Canoe design.
