Some friends of ours were having their annual camping trip at Diamond Lake this year and they invited us to stop by. We thought it was a good idea, and decided to make a whole event out of it.

The first thing we did was drive down there - and it is a long way: I-5 to Roseburg, then east on 138 until you feel like smashing into a tree just to get it over.

Our first stop was Toketee Falls. They divert a bunch of water through this 8ft high pipe to drive a hydroelectric generator. As shocking as it may sound: it appears people shoot at or otherwise damage this pipe. Just a few feet past the parking lot, there are no holes. On the side facing the parking lot - holes.
