The keel was cut from an 8 ft long 2x6. Now I needed to do the stems. Because of the curve, I couldn't use a 2x6, so I got a 2x10 and did my best. I tried a different approach, trying to hold out a piece of butcher paper and trim it to shape, then transfer that shape to the wood for cutting.
