Jordan made sure we were well acquainted with all the aspects of beginning sailing, including putting us through Man Overboard drills. Here, he had tossed in a float to act as a fallen crewmember and we had to show the correct procedures to go and retrieve it. In a nutshell, the goal of this lesson is to not run over the man in the water.
