We took a lot of tours while we were there, and one was to the Ursaline Convent. They were nuns sent from France to help take care of kids orphaned by various diseases and duels and the like. This cross if from the convent in France and was shipped over after the Ursalines died out over there (non-reproduction does not make for long running organizations.)
