After the Ming Tombs, we went to the Fresh Water Pearl Factory where they take mounds of pearls and turn them into everything from jewelry to beauty cream as fast as you can watch. They get about 20 pearls per oyster and China is the only country exporting fresh water pearl products (or something, I can't remember)
