Back at the entrance, I saw them spreading and tamping dirt on the new roof they were making for a building. Since we don't use dirt in the construction of our roofs, I asked what was going on. I was told they do it to make a smooth compound slope so they can make those cool sweeping eves so the evil spirits slide off.
